AZS channel bricks comprise alumina (Al₂O₃), zirconia (ZrO₂) and silica (SiO₂) as primary constituents, forming a dense, uniform crystalline structure through the electric melting process. Their core advantages include:

High resistance to glass melt erosion: The incorporation of zirconium oxide significantly enhances chemical erosion resistance against diverse glass melts such as soda-lime and borosilicate glass, prolonging the service life of the feed channel。

Minimal contamination tendency: Extremely low glass phase exudation prevents defects like slag inclusions and bubbles, ensuring the transparency and purity of glass products。

Superior thermal stability: A low thermal expansion coefficient coupled with high thermal conductivity ensures structural integrity under temperature fluctuations, preventing cracking。

Precise dimensional control: High dimensional accuracy and tight joint sealing minimise the risk of molten glass leakage。
